E: "We're very happy that everyone's enjoying the Town Hall with strings album and film. It was a great night and tour for us, but that was SO 2005. We're into something a little different now. Blinking Lights is a big album and it deserves at least two world tours in its honor."

The indie-rock group Smoosh opens for the Eels on this tour. You can also expect Smoosh to come out and dance around during Eels' encore songs. Visit their Official Site to get to know more about these 2 girls, who are apparently getting a lot of recognition oversea these days.
They'll support Eels on the first US leg, in Europe and in Australia. But the girls need some summer vacation, so they decided not to do the second US leg.
