How I discovered Eels
In 2003 I watched the bonus material of the shitty film Road Trip and was blown away by the song (not the video) Mr. E's Beautiful Blus. I DID have to have everything from this band.
Not a very cool story, don't you agree?! I wish I could tell you something more exciting (e.g. "E came to my hometown and was trying to convince me to love his music. How could I say no to that?"), but who cares... I loved this band from the very beginning... ;)
