E does not like the fact that Rocking Eels exists. We’ve always intented to support the band. We’re giving free publicity for E’s music, after all. But, E does not want to have any fan-involvement at all. Don’t get us wrong, we love the guy and his music. But he is and (probably will ever be) a control-freak. Partly, that’s why we all love his music so much.
Rocking Eels has existed since 3rd July, 2004. In the first year it was available on the hauntedpiano.co.uk server (muchos gracias again to our friend Jeremy). On the first anniversary ROCKING EELS was overworked completely. A few months later it went down due to problems with the hosting server. Since February 2006 it’s been online again!

This is not the official eels website. The official website is at eelstheband.com, this is an inofficial, indepedently run, non-profit fansite.
The author of all the texts is me, Screamdevil/Berni (exceptions noted). So if you want to copy something, please inform me.
Rocking Eels is by no means meant to make any profit from Eels, Mark Oliver Everett, Vagrant, Dreamworks and/or anybody connected to the band. If we announce any news concerning the band (tour dates, releases, etc.) always double check with the official site and keep in mind, that every inofficial information presented here is subject to change or be false.
If you’re wondering, why Rocking Eels is not in the “links-section” on the official site: The link was deleted by the webmaster, because they “don’t want to drive traffic to any site that is posting spoiler information”.
If you want to get in touch with E, we are DEFINITELY the wrong people to ask. We have no clue how to contact him. Butch: “E is a hard man to pin down. I don’t know how you could contact him and he usually doesn’t want to be bothered”
