The first little review of the upcoming “Tomorrow Morning” has been published. You can find The Skinny’s 3 star review right HERE. For all Austrian Eels Fans: The EELS show at Vienna’s “Arena” on September 12th has been moved from the big hall and is now an Open Air Concert at the same venue. This is such great news! On AMAZON.CO.UK you can hear snippets of every song on the upcoming “Tomorrow Morning”. Enjoy! UPDATE: The previews have been taken off the Amazon.co.uk site now. SOUNDBLAB recently interviewed E about the new record “Tomorrow Morning”, the upcoming tour and the fact that nowadays E releases his albums via his own record label.
Check out the latest free Eels track from the upcoming album called “Spectacular Girl” right HERE. E says about the song: “This is a song about a very spectacular girl. You don’t know her, but you should.” On the upcoming tour British singer ALICE GOLD will be supporting the Eels. At least that’s what we could find out about a number of European dates (including Glasgow, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Vienna, Graz, Hohenems…). Update: Via her twitter account Alice has now confirmed that she’ll be supporting the Eels in Europe only.
Furthermore, another exciting fan project is in the pipeline: The Eels Illustrated Lyrics Book, which is aiming to have the lyrics to Eels songs with really cool unique fan artwork for each song. If you want to participate in this great project please check out THIS THREAD on the international Eels message board.
